universityEuropean International University “Alma Mater Europaea,” hosted B&H journalists at the headquarters of the University of Salzburg and presented their programs which from this year will be available to students in B&H. The University was established by the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, which has more than 1,800 members, top scientists and artists, with a total of 32 Nobel Prize winners among them.

“While establishing the university, we were guided by the criteria that the program must be interdisciplinary, international, with excellent professors, and most importantly that students can get a job after they graduate,” said Prof. Dr. Felix Unger, the President of the University and the President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts.

On this occasion, Professor Unger announced the Danube Academies Conference, which will be held in Ljubljana.

“In accordance with the economy of countries in which we operate, we are creating perspective and interesting study programs for occupations that are in deficit. This is one of the reasons why graduates of Alma Mater Europaea universities are so competitive in the labor market. 96 % of our students in Slovenia  have found the job right after they finished their studies, while in Croatia, all of our graduates found a job after they graduated,” said Prof. Dr. Ludvik Toplak, the vice rector of the Alma Mater Europaea University and Slovenian diplomat and lawyer.

“On their first day of studies, students receive iPad with all lectures and access to e-libraries, in order to follow distance learning lectures and perform business and other obligations at their home. Study program in Brussels as well as the practice in the EU countries are provided by the course,” said Prof. Dr. Jurij Toplak, the Dean of the European Business Studies at the Alma Mater Europaea University.

Master program of 4 semesters on the European Business Studies is available for all students who completed a three-year or four-year undergraduate studies. After the completion of the master studies, students will have the professional title “Master of European Business Studies” and they will obtain a diploma, which is valid in all EU countries.

On this occasion, the Open days of the International University Alma Mater Europaea have been announced for Wednesday and Thursday, the 23rd and the 24th of September in Sarajevo.
