Zenica to build 62 Housing Units for Displaced Families

ZenicaThe city of Zenica is included in the program of the Ministry for Human Rights and Refugees of B&H, according to which will be granted funds for the implementation of the Regional Housing Program and even construction of 438 housing units for 19 local communities.

New apartments will be owned by local communities that provide the infrastructure equipped land and other contributions with approximate value of 2 million EUR, and the total value of the program is amounting to 14,371,287 EUR, which were provided by the multi-donor fund “Regional Housing Program”, which is managed by the Development Bank of the Council of Europe.

The funds for the construction of 62 housing units and facilities are intended for the city of Zenica, whose construction should start in the spring, so that by the end of 2016, if there is no major difficulties, families can move in their new homes.

Besides Zenica beneficiaries of the program for the construction of housing units for displaced families are also: Brcko District, Bosanski Petrovac, Foca in FB&H, Gorazde, Ilidza, Jajce, Olovo, Pale-Praca, Tuzla, Banja Luka, Bijeljina, Bileca, Brod, Derventa, Foca, Gradiska, Prijedor and Vlasenica.
