Crkvine near: Vucic and Dodik opened the School “Serbia”

vucicThe newly constructed primary school was officially opened in Crkvine Gornje near Bosanski Samac, which was completely destroyed due to the floods in May 2014. The funds in the amount of one million BAM for the construction of school were provided by the Government of Republic of Serbia.

Primary school will be named “Serbia” and Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic and President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik cut the ceremonial ribbon.

“I am proud of today because it is much better if schools would sprout instead of hatred and I hope they will bring us good and peaceful future. It should be noted that Serbia will invest 5 million EUR in Srebrenica. Therefore, we will continue to help to Republika Srpska, while respecting the integrity of B&H and we will support Republika Srpska in accordance with the Dayton Agreement,” said Vucic.

President of Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik said that the cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska is very effective and obvious.

After floods in Bosanski Samac, the Government of Republika Srpska invested over 40 million BAM in the construction of schools in Crkvina, which was completely destroyed by the floods in 2014 and almost million BAM was invested. Part of the funds for construction of the school were provided by the UN Development Program (UNDP).

Old school building in Crkvina was built back in 1967 and it was completely destroyed in the floods in May, after which classes were held at the premises of the local community.
