The Federal Minister of Internal Affairs, Ramo Isak, assessed the work of his predecessor, Aljosa Campara, and also revealed that comments and jokes about him on social media make him laugh.
At the beginning of the conversation, he commented on his statement in which he claimed that in 100 days of work, after the formation of the Government of Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), he had done more than his predecessors in 20 years.
Work results
Given that his predecessor was Aljosa Campara (NiP) for nine years, who is now part of the ruling coalition, he was asked to comment on whether he believes Campara did not work enough or well.
“I believe that in the last 20 years, the people who held the position of minister did not do their job the way they were supposed to. They were people from other professions and did not know what needed to be done. I started my career as a policeman and ended it as a criminal investigator. I am a professional and I have assembled the best team, the strongest team in the country, capable of leading the United States (U.S.) service,” explained Isak.
He adds that the results achieved by the Ministry are not solely due to him, as he is just one in a series, and the credit goes to the team.
His predecessors, he says, may not have had a quality team, or they were not professionals, and it is also possible that they did not have the support of the Government, which he has.
Wife as the best security
He explained that in the U.S., Turkey, and Germany, bodyguards are in the spotlight, which is why he photographs members of his security team.
“I have two or three guys from security around me, and after work, I have no security; then my wife is my security. We protect each other, everyone sees us, we walk alone, we socialize,” he said.
In the end, he said how he perceives jokes on social media in which he is the main character.
“It really makes me laugh. I know who makes those jokes, and I would ask God to give them the happiness I have,” he said.
In response to the statement that Isak could also be in the Presidency of BiH, he replied:
“You never know, as they say, only God knows what can happen. It’s up to me to work, to justify the trust I’ve been given with my work, and the rest will be judged by the citizens. If the citizens decide that I should be somewhere – I will be, if they decide that I shouldn’t – I won’t,” Isak concluded, Klix.ba reports.
