At the invitation of the director of the “Boxmark” company, Matej Bastic, Prime Minister of the Tuzla Canton (TC), Bego Gutic, visited yesterday the production facilities of this renowned manufacturer of textile and leather parts for auto industry in Kidricevo, Slovenia.

Boxmark already has its own production facilities in Lukavac, and in the near future the plan is to significantly expand its production capacities. This primarily involves the construction of a new production hall, which is only the first phase of a total investment project of around 20 million BAM, which should ultimately result in the opening of about one thousand new jobs in TC.

“The visit to Boxmark’s production facilities in Slovenia was an opportunity to see the way and the work model of this company, but also to meet a part of what will be our reality in the near future. After all we have seen here, I have to express my pleasure that such a modern company, with an exceptional reputation in the field of auto industry, will be a significant part of the economy in the TC, “ said Gutic.

The Prime Minister emphasized that Boxmark proved to be one of the most serious business investors in the TC.

“The Government will do everything in its power to end all necessary procedures for issuing the necessary permits in the shortest possible terms. Our gains and goals in this case are jobs, therefore, all the capacities of the Government and the relevant ministries will work toward realizing this investment, “ Prime Minister Gutic said.

“He added that the export orientation of Boxmark’s production would further improve the economic image of the canton, and improve the ratio of export-import coverage, “ it was said in the TC.

“Our canton already has one of the best relations of export import coverage in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. That percentage in the TC is about 87 percent, and it is certain that by increasing the capacity of Boxmark, with an additional industrial growth, this percentage will be somewhat higher, “ the Prime Minister concluded.
