Chargé d’affaires of Iran’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ali Bagheri Kani, reiterated that Iran has every right to respond militarily to Israel.
What is interesting is that Bagheri indirectly put pressure on Western countries as well, given that he referred to the results of talks with officials of Germany, Great Britain and other countries.
“It is Iran’s legitimate right to respond to the killing of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh. All countries that have contacted us have recognized our right to respond,” said an Iranian official.
He said that the identity of the resistance is strong and solid and that the front of resistance to Israel has become global.
“The Israeli attacks on Damascus, Beirut and Tehran clearly reflect the occupying power’s attempt to expand the war in the region, emphasizing that the international community must understand that this Israel is the reason for the destabilization of security in the region,” he concluded.
