Irish national team player Richard Keogh said he believes his team can win against B&H in the play-off match which is to be played next month. Victory they achieved in the match agaist Germany gave wind to their sails, but Keogh still emphasizes that they will have to be very careful against the Dragons.
How dedicated they are to the goal is witnessed by the fact that each national team player of Ireland will get a DVD about the BH players and matches they have played, that will be made by the coach Martin O’Neill and his staff.
“Each draw is difficult because of all the teams in it. I think this was a good draw which gives us a chance to achieve a result in Bosnia. Playing the first match in guests is good foor thinking. We know what we should do and win. We did a good job ending third because I think we had the toughest group in the qualifications”, Keogh said.
However, despite positive thinking, not for a moment does Keogh underestimate the Dragons and their play.
“B&H has a lot of good players and it will not be easy for us. Asmir Begovic, Miralem Pjanic and Edin Dzeko are top players. Therefore, it will be difficult, but we believe in ourselves”, Keogh said.
