For the first 9 months of this year, B&H achieved exports worth 6.689 billion BAM, which is 4.2 % more than in the same period last year, while imports amounted to 11.79 billion BAM, which is 1% less than the last year.
The coverage of import by export was 56.7 %, while foreign trade deficit amounted to 5.101 billion BAM, according to the Agency for Statistics of B&H.
Exports to CEFTA countries amounted to 1,007 billion BA, which represents an increase by 4.2 % in comparison with the same period of 2014, while imports amounted to 1.452 billion BAM, which is by 7.7 % more than in the same period last year.
The coverage of import by export was 69.4 %.
Exports to EU countries for the first 9 months amounted to 4.832 billion BAM, which is by 2.7 % more than the same period last year, while imports amounted to 7.129 billion BAM, which represents an increase by 0.6 %.
The coverage of import by export was 67.8 %.
