Fuel has become cheaper again in Bosnia and Herzegovina

In the Republika Srpska, fuel has become cheaper again today by five to ten pfennigs per liter, and at some gas stations they say that prices drop twice a day.

At the gas stations, they say that today’s drop in prices is just a continuation of the trend of cheaper fuel, reports Srna news agency.

In the Republika Srpska, in the last 10 days or so, the price of fuel between 15 and 20 pfennigs per liter has been recorded, and the prices of diesel at the pumps are now between 2.35 and 2.45 BAM, and gasoline between 2.49 and 2.59 BAM per liter , data from the Chamber of Commerce of the RS.

“The drop in fuel prices was due to the drop in oil prices on the world stock market that occurred in the past weeks. The price of oil on the stock market is now 76.71 dollars per barrel, and in the last two weeks it was between 82.58 and 76.71 dollars per barrel “, they stated from the Chamber.

The formation of fuel prices in the RS, as they clarified, is influenced by the price on the stock exchange, on the basis of which suppliers form their prices.

“The reason for the price difference at the gas stations may be in the choice of suppliers who have their own prices for purchased fuel and the margin levels that distributors form based on their business policy,” the Chamber stated.
