Irrigation of About 15.000 Hectares in Gradiška

Gradi?kaThe Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management of the RS is committed to the continuation of lending support to the construction of Agro-Industry zones in Nova Topola near Gradiška, concluded at a meeting of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Stevo Mirjanić with a delegation of the municipality of Gradiška, led by Mayor Zoran Latinović.

At the meeting they spoke about the development and construction of an irrigation system in the area of Gradiška, where around 15.000 hectares will be irrigated in this municipality, of water from the River Vrbas to the canal Osoma, which will be nine kilometers long.

Minister Mirjanić informed the delegation of municipality Gradiška that the contractor of the works will be known soon, and that works on the cleaning of existing channels of Osorna-Borna-Ljevčanica canals will begin shortly, 26,5 kilometers long, announced the Ministry.
