Federal Minister of Internal Affairs Ramo Isak announced the decision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska (MUP RS) which prohibited the celebration of the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s entity of the RS.
“The capacitation and political influence of the ruling regime on the Ministry of Interior of the RS speaks volumes for the explanation according to which the experts of the entity police estimated that there is a real possibility that at a public meeting there may be greater endangerment of people and property, as well as a serious danger of violence or disruption of public order and peace on a larger scale,” Isak said.
He added that the service that analyzed the security aspects and circumstances was either completely incompetent or made its assessments based on the dictates of politicians and people who are on the blacklists of the United States of America.
“The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS, whose members are threatened by Milorad Dodik and who, in his opinion, should protect him from the state judicial authorities if he receives a guilty verdict, are not even able to ensure a peaceful celebration of the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the territory of the BiH entity of the RS “, points out Isak.
He said that if the police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS are not able to secure even a peaceful gathering, then we have serious security problems in BiH, because the RS is one of the two entities in the state of BiH.
“The Federal Police Administration is ready to provide assistance to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RS if the police officers from the BiH entity of the RS are not able to ensure peaceful gatherings. And as for the Statehood Day of BiH – neither the Ministry of the Interior of the RS, nor any factor in BiH or outside our state cannot affect the importance and significance of that day,” concluded Isak, Klix.ba reports.
