The Olympic Museum Sarajevo will host inspiring conversations, “Olympic Stories with…”, on February 20th and 21st as part of the Sarajevo Olympic Week 2025 festival. This unique format will welcome distinguished athletes who will share their experiences, values, and motivational stories with the audience, celebrating the Olympic spirit through dialogue with young people.

“I look forward to meeting young people and having the opportunity to talk together about the importance of Olympic values. Sport is not just about competition – it teaches us perseverance, teamwork, and respect, and those are the messages I want to pass on to new generations,” said Razija Mujanovic ahead of her gathering with young people.

Today, February 20th, the guests will be Ismail Barlov, a Bosnian and Herzegovinian (BiH) Paralympic swimmer and a young leader in the sports community, along with his coach and promoter of inclusion in sports, Amel Kapo. Tomorrow, February 21st, the guest will be Razija Mujanovic, the celebrated BiH basketball player and a member of the FIBA Hall of Fame. Both events will begin at 1:30 p.m. at the Olympic Museum.

In addition to inspiring conversations, Sarajevo Olympic Week will bring a series of exciting events for sports enthusiasts and fans of Olympic heritage.

For film lovers, Olympic Cinema will feature special screenings of documentaries and feature films inspired by sports and perseverance. Today at 7:00 p.m. at the Igman Cinema in Ilidza, the audience will be able to watch the documentary “Od Olimpijske do Olimpa” (From Olympic to Olympus), while tomorrow at the same place and time, the film “The Boys in the Boat”, inspired by a true story of sportsmanship and unity, will be shown. Tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. in Ilidza, a curling showcase will take place, offering visitors a chance to get acquainted with this Olympic sport. On Saturday, mini-hockey matches will start at 10:00 a.m., bringing together young athletes and giving them the opportunity to compete and socialize in the Olympic spirit.

Free tickets for Sarajevo Olympic Week events can be obtained through the Fiesta Lama platform.
