Israel claims they have killed another Lebanese Hezbollah Member

The Israeli army announced today that they killed one of the leaders of the rocket units of the Shiite Hezbollah movement in southern Lebanon in a plane attack. The statement added that Abdel Hassan Naim, killed in the Bazuria region, was “in charge of planning and leading attacks on Israeli civilians.”

His death was also confirmed in Lebanon.

Clashes on the Lebanese-Israeli border have intensified this week with fears of a general conflict between Israel and Hamas, who also fought in 2006.

Since almost six months ago, on the Israeli-Lebanese border, there have been daily clashes between the Israeli army and Hezbollah, which says it supports the Palestinian Islamist movement Hamas, against which Israel has been waging war in the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year.

The pro-Iranian armed movement Hezbollah targets Israeli military positions and settlements near the border, and Israel retaliates with bombings deeper into Lebanese territory and targeted attacks on Hezbollah and Hamas officials.

The USA announced on Thursday that the highest priority is the establishment of peace on the Israeli-Lebanese border, Beta reports.
