Several people were killed and injured in an attack by the Israeli army on displaced civilians heading south of Gaza, the Palestinian Ministry of the Interior announced.

“There are dead and injured as a result of an attack by the Israeli occupation forces on displaced civilians who are moving towards the south of the Gaza Strip,” said a statement carried out on Telegram.

Israel has called for the evacuation of more than a million people in the northern Gaza Strip, and asserted that there are “security corridors” for the passage of the displaced.

Palestinian officials announced that there is no security corridor or safe area in the Gaza Strip and that the Israeli army continues to attack civilians and hospitals.

According to the latest information, 11,078 Palestinians, including 4,506 children and 3,027 women, have been killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7. According to official data, the death toll in Israel is around 1,600.
