A meeting between the representatives of the multinational company Fantoni from Udine (Italy) and the mayor of Bosanska Krupa, Armin Halitovic, was held in the Mayor’s Cabinet.

The reason for the meeting was a new investment in the area of the town of Bosanska Krupa in the field of wood industry.

“Today we had the pleasure and opportunity to host representatives of the multinational company Fantoni from Udine, Italy, who started a new investment in Bosanska Krupa in the field of wood industry and completed the first phase. What was presented to us sounds very optimistic, and in the next two to three years we can expect two more phases and further investments and development of their company Flakes d.o.o. Bosanska Krupa,” said Halitovic yesterday.

On this occasion, Halitovic also pointed out that it is very important for them that the Italian investors once again confirmed the good business environment in Bosanska Krupa, and that they justified their expectations.

The meeting with the Italian investors was also attended by the Minister of Agriculture, Water Management and Forestry in the Una-Sana Canton (USC) Government, Adis Dzanic, Vice President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), Ahmet Egrlic, Serif Kaljikovic, Director of the forest management enterprises “Unsko-Sanska Sume” and his colleagues, advisers to the Prime Minister of the USC, Samir Jasaragic and Husnija Kudic, and representatives of the company “Holz Transporti” Haris and Asim Harbas.

“The Flakes factory is another production plant that will contribute to the further development of Bosanska Krupa, which in the first eight months of 2023 had exports worth 101.5 million BAM,” said Vice President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH Ahmet Egrlic on this occasion, Biznis Info reports.
