Israel Tells UN Security Council It Will Continue Strikes Until “Iran’s Nuclear Threat Is Removed”

Iran announced during a UN Security Council meeting on Friday that it would continue to defend itself against Israel, while Israel’s UN ambassador vowed that his country would not stop its attacks “until the Iranian nuclear threat is removed.”

We will not stop, said Israel’s UN ambassador Danny Danon.

“Not until the Iranian nuclear threat is removed, not until its war machine is disarmed, not until our people and your people are safe,” he said.

Iran’s UN ambassador, Amir Saeid Iravani, called on the Security Council to take action.

“Israel has clearly announced that it will continue this attack for as many days as necessary. We are alarmed by the credible report that the United States may be joining this war,” the Iranian diplomat said, according to Reuters.
