“Israel will never agree to the Establishment of a Palestinian State”

Israel will never agree to the establishment of a Palestinian state, as it would jeopardize its own existence, Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said.

“Israel’s priorities are clear: preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, releasing all hostages, eliminating Hamas in Gaza, and then an agreement to normalize relations with Saudi Arabia,” Katz said at a meeting with the US delegation.

He added that only US President Donald Trump’s plan for Gaza can guarantee the security of Israeli residents after Hamas’s incursion into Israeli territory on October 7, 2023, TASS reported.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said earlier that Palestinians from Gaza should be allowed to leave the enclave if they wish.

Meanwhile, Hamas has expressed its readiness to hand over control of the Gaza Strip to the Palestinian Authority.
