Israeli Army said it hit 150 Underground Targets in the Gaza Strip

The Israeli army said on Saturday that it hit 150 “underground targets” in the north of the blockaded Gaza Strip during the previous night.

In a statement from the Israeli army, it is stated that members of Hamas have been eliminated, while “combat tunnels, underground combat areas and other terrorist infrastructure” have been destroyed.

The Israeli military announced earlier on Friday that it was expanding the scope of its ground operations.

They intensively bombarded the Gaza Strip, cutting off telecommunications and the Internet, making it impossible to communicate with humanitarian and medical teams on the ground.

At least 7,326 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7. About 70 percent are Palestinian women and children, according to official figures.

Some 2.3 million Gazans are struggling with food, water and medicine shortages due to massive Israeli aerial bombardment and a complete blockade of the enclave.

Last night, the United Nations General Assembly adopted a resolution calling for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire.
