Israeli forces killed a Palestinian Woman and a Child

A Palestinian woman and child were killed by Israeli soldiers in Tulkarem in the West Bank on Monday, the Ministry of Health said.

They said that four other people were wounded. Israeli forces raided the Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarem amid clashes with armed Palestinians, according to witnesses.

“Israeli forces bombed a house near my house,” Kamal Ahmed Jaber told Anadolu.

He pointed out that they heard gunshots.

Tensions have been high across the West Bank since Israel launched a deadly military offensive on the Gaza Strip following a cross-border attack by Hamas on October 7.

According to data from the Ministry of Health, at least 554 Palestinians, including 133 children, have since been killed and around 5,300 wounded by Israeli army fire in the occupied territory.

Israel has been accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice, whose latest ruling ordered Israeli authorities to immediately halt their military operation in the southern city of Rafah.
