Israel’s War Cabinet is meeting again Today, the main topic being the response to Iran

Israel’s War Cabinet will hold another meeting today to discuss the response to the Iranian attack.

The war cabinet will meet at 14:00 local time, and the main agenda item of the meeting will be Israel’s response to the attack by Iran on April 13, “Kanal 12” announced.

The War Cabinet met yesterday to discuss the response to Iran. Israeli media reported that the members of the War Cabinet had different views on the response to Tehran and that it was not possible to reach a consensus.

News reports indicated that members of the War Cabinet agreed on a response to Iran, but expressed differing views on when and how to respond.

On April 1, Israel carried out an airstrike on the building of the Iranian consulate in Damascus. A total of seven people from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps, including two generals, were killed in the attack.

Iran has announced that an attack on the Israeli consulate means an attack on its country’s territory and that it will retaliate. Israeli officials have also said they will respond to Iranian attacks.

Iran launched an attack on Israel late Saturday night with hundreds of kamikaze drones, ballistic and cruise missiles, and announced that some military targets had been hit.

Israel said most of the attacks were prevented by air defense systems, but one of the missiles hit a military base in the south of the country, AA writes.
