The revenues of the Administration for Indirect Taxation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the eight months of 2024 amounted to seven billion and 503 million BAM and by 572 million BAM or 8.25 percent, they are higher compared to the same period in 2023 when they amounted to six billion and 931 million BAm.
The ITA announced that in the period January-August 2024, one billion and 359 million BAM was returned to the economy, while the revenues that were distributed to the entities, the state and the Brčko District amounted to six billion and 144 million BAM and are higher by 667 million BAM in relation to the income received by users for the same period in 2023.
In August alone, the ITA collected one billion and eight million BAM, which is 29 million BAM more than in August 2023.
An amount of 679 million BAM was allocated for the financing of state institutions in the period January-August 2024, and the rest of the collected revenues ended up in the entities and Brčko District. Thus, the Federation of BiH received three billion and 356 million BAM from the single account, the Republika Srpska one billion and 879 million BAM and the Brčko District 188 million BAM.
In addition to distributed revenues, based on a special toll for the construction of highways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 BAM), the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an additional 154.9 million BAM, the Republika Srpska 102.4 million BAM and the Brčko District 5.2 million BAM.
