Authorized officers of the Directorate for Indirect Taxation in the operative action codenamed “Live 1” confiscated a large amount of consumer goods, the market value of which is estimated at 205,000 BAM, in the area of the regional center of Tuzla.

ITA officers conducted an operational action under the code name “Live 1” in the area covered by RC Tuzla.

“On the basis of operational-tactical information about irregularities in the business operations of certain natural persons, a check was made on the circulation and origin of goods at two locations (Tuzla and Lukavac),” the statement reads.

On that occasion, a large quantity of goods of foreign origin was found, for which there was no legal documentation.

“It was about 13,275 pieces of consumer goods (household goods, dishes, towels, technical goods, etc.) that were intended for online sales (Live sales). The goods in question were temporarily confiscated, and their value is estimated at around 205,000 BAM,” the statement added.

For established illegalities, measures and actions prescribed by law were taken against the perpetrators.
