The revenues from indirect taxation during the seven months of this year amounted to seven billion and 244 million BAM and increased by 395 million BAM, or 5.77 percent, compared to the same period in 2025 when they amounted to six billion and 849 million BAM, said the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In the first seven months of this year, the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina processed VAT refunds to taxpayers who exercised their legal right to a one billion and 264 million BAM refund.

Net collected revenues distributed to users in the seven months of this year, which include the state, entities, and the Brčko District, amounted to five billion and 980 million BAM, an increase of 7.27 percent compared to the revenues distributed to users in the seven months of 2025.

“In July this year, one billion and 168 million BAM of indirect taxation was collected, marking an increase of 66 million BAM more compared to July 2025,” said the ITA of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is added that 589 million BAM was distributed to finance state institutions in the first seven months of this year. The rest of the collected revenues from the indirect taxation went to the entities and Brčko District. The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received three billion and 317 million BAM from the single account, Republika Srpska one billion and 856 million BAM, and Brčko District 816 million BAM.

In addition to distributed revenues, and on the basis of a specific toll for the construction of motorways and the construction and reconstruction of other roads (0.25 BAM), the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina received an additional 137 million BAM, Republika Srpska 90 million BAM, and Brčko District five million BAM. The difference represents a reserve in a special road toll account in the amount of 0.25 BAM, said the Indirect Taxation Authority of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
