Italian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Sarah Eti Castellani closely watched the basketball match between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy. After the match, she shared a cute comment about the outcome on Instagram.

Ahead of the match, Castellani emphasized that Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina were meeting a few months after the World Cup football playoff match.

Also, ahead of the match between the basketball national teams of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy, she wrote: “Good luck, Bosnia and Herzegovina; may the best team win.”

After the match in which the basketball national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated Italy 78:76, the ambassador joked that Bosnia and Herzegovina is better at football and basketball.

“Maybe we should try chess?” the ambassador wrote.

After that, Castellani “succeeded” in finding a duel in which Italy beat Bosnia and Herzegovina, a water polo tournament at the Mediterranean Games where Italy defeated Bosnia and Herzegovina by a score of 38-4.

“Wait, we have won!” the ambassador said.

Through daily activities, the Italian Ambassador Sarah Eti Castellani is working on strengthening relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy, which especially refers to sporting and cultural events that significantly contribute to strengthening the already friendly relationship of the two countries.
