Members of the Herzegovina Mountain Rescue Service (HGSS) Citluk successfully completed an action Friday and rescued an Italian national who injured a leg on Krizevac Hill in Medjugorje.
According to the Union of Mountain Rescue Services in Bosnia and Herzegovina (GSSUBIH), the rescue operation began immediately after the HGSS Citluk received a report on Friday morning at 7.10am that an Italian citizen with C.S. initials is injured.
A team of six mountain rescuers immediately went to the scene, located the injured person, repaired the injury and transported the women by ambulance to Citluk.
