Izetbegovic and TukaThe best BH athlete Amel Tuka, together with the representatives from the Athletic Federation of B&H, visited today the Presidency of B&H, where they were hosted by Bakir Izetbegovic.

Along with symbolic handing of financial assistance, the condition of the top sportsmen in B&H was discussed at the meeting, with a special emphasis on athletes.

The meeting was attended by the president of the Athletic Federation of B&H Suad Kaknjo and the Mayor of the Zenica Municipality Husein Smajlovic, who informed the member of the Presidency of B&H of the activities that are being implemented within the preparations for the World Championships in Athletics in Beijing this year.

The collocutors agreed that the successes of the BH athletes must represent an additional motive for the institutions in B&H to support the top sports and top sportsmen more significantly.

Izetbegovic pointed out that the sports successes of Amel Tuka have a significance for our society as a whole, as well as for further affirmation of B&H at the international level.

After the meeting in the Presidency of B&H, Tuka talked to the Mayor of Zenica at a separate lunch, insisting that more attention gets paid to the support for the top sportsmen at the places where decisions are made on the division of money.
