President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA) Bakir Izetbegovic met with the Swiss Ambassador to BiH Daniel Hunn yesterday.

The conversation highlighted the good relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Switzerland, especially in the fields of economy, health and cooperation with local communities.

The need to intensify private sector cooperation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Switzerland was emphasized. It was assessed that there is a lot of room for improving that cooperation, especially due to the potential of the BiH diaspora in Switzerland.

Aspects of the coronavirus pandemic and the fight against its economic consequences were discussed at the meeting.

Izetbegović informed Ambassador Hunn about the activities of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the path to membership in the European Union, and with the challenges and obstacles on that path, the SDA said.
