Japanese Drum Band Will Perform in BKC Tonight

GOCOO - www.gocoo.deThe well-known Japanese drummer band Gocoo will perform in the Bosnian Cultural Center BKC) tonight. There will be seven female and five male drummers that will perform on traditional Japanese drums.

‘’We expect people to feel love, happiness, hope and peace that our music has and we wish to go at the heart of our listeners through music in order to build bridges that would connect various languages and cultures’’, said Kaoly Asano, leader of the band.

Gocoo band was founded in 1997 in Tokyo and has a respectable world career. Gocoo has already performed in Belgrade, and after Sarajevo will hold a concert in Zagreb.

Another member of the band, Goro, will take part in tonight’s concert and will play authentic instruments including the Japanese flute, harmonica and Didgeridoo, and instrument that were originally played by Australian aborigines.

The concert begins at 20:00 and the entrance is free.
