Kuwaiti low cost carrier Jazeera Airways will increase frequencies on its seasonal service between Kuwait City and Sarajevo during the upcoming summer season. The airline will resume operations on the route on April 24 with two weekly flights. From mid-June, services will be ramped up significantly to double daily operations, representing an increase of eight weekly rotations compared to last summer. The higher frequency will be maintained through July, when capacity will be up by three weekly services year-on-year, and August, during which frequencies will match last year’s peak levels. Jazeera Airways plans to sustain two daily flights until mid-September, after which operations will be reduced to mostly daily services, still up by three weekly flights, before the seasonal route concludes on September 27.
Overall, Jazeera Airways will operate 403 Sarajevo flights this summer (these include both inbound and outbound services), representing an increase of 71 flights. It will add an additional 12.630 seats on the route year-on-year. The airline will utilise the Airbus A320 aircraft on 225 flights, while the A320neo will be utilised on the remaining 178, EX Yu Aviation news writes.
