Joint Declaration at Summit of Turkey, Serbia and BIH Adopted

Ankara_and_mosque_wzaThe President of Turkey Abdulah Gul, members of BiH Presidency Nebojša Radmanović, Bakir Izetbegović and Željko Komšić and the President of Serbia Tomislav Nikolić agreed today in Ankara on a joint declaration in which the role of trilateral meetings as an institutional framework for regional cooperation was emphasized.

The declaration of the third trilateral meeting mentioned cooperation in the areas of economy, culture, education, science, energy, infrastructure, transport, sport, tourism, and the fight against terrorism and all areas of extremism.

Support was given to the reform processes in BiH, Serbia and Turkey, which should accelerate the integration of the region into the EU, conveyed media reports.

They agreed that the next trilateral meeting would be held next year in Sarajevo, and the cooperation of the relevant Ministers of BiH, Turkey an Ankara were welcomed, which signed yesterday a Protocol on forming a tripartite committee for economic cooperation.
