Joint Exercise in front of Vjecna Vatra held

DSC_0087Volunteers of Red Cross Center were held joint exercise in front of Vječna Vatra on 12 September 2015, regarding to the World First Aid Day.

The first joint exercise represented realistic case of fans fight of two fan groups from our city. Second joint exercise represented realistic case of bicycle and foot passenger collision. These joint exercises are held by volunteers of Youth Team of Red Cross Centre, and Firs Aid team were: volunteers of Youth Team, and winning team of First Aid Federal competition who will present us on upcoming National competition in the category of youth.

Also, the volunteers distributed flyers and showed our citizens how to reanimate the person without signs of life.

Everyone in the community needs to be  aware of the importance of first-aid and as such 12th of September each year was announced as the World First Aid Day.

September 12, 2015, is World First Aid Day, an annual campaign to promote the importance of first aid training in preventing injuries and saving lives.

Unintentional injuries are the leading cause of death for Bosnians between the ages of one and 44. Having the skills to act immediately in an emergency situation can help save lives and reduce the impact of injury, but the knowledge also helps prevent injuries in the first place.
