Jordan has announced that it has temporarily closed its airspace to flights.
According to the Jordanian agency PETRA, the president of the Civil Aviation Administration, Haitham Misto, said that they decided to close the airspace because of the tension in the region.
He added that the airspace is temporarily closed for all flights.
He pointed out that the decision will be considered in accordance with the developments and that the passengers and competent institutions will be provided with the necessary information.
The announcement states that hundreds of missiles were fired from Iran towards Israel, and citizens are urged to stay at home for safety.
