Jubilee Edition of Konjic Food Fest showcases Traditional Food


The jubilee edition of the International Konjic Food Fest 2019 was officially opened on Wednesday at “Partizanovo” with the presence of numerous guests and guests from the city of Konjic and Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.

The two-day festival, which is one of the largest in BiH, gathered around 120 exhibitors from all over our country this year. Featured are home-made products, fruit and vegetable products, honey and bee products, herbs, handicrafts …

On the first festival day, there will be a culinary competition for students from Serbia, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia and BiH in the preparation of fish, while for interested citizens there will be a competition in the preparation of fish soup. During both festival days there will be presentations in the preparation of traditional dishes, and the organizers will announce the most beautifully decorated booth this year.

The Festival organizers are Konjic Municipality, Konjic Association of Agricultural Associations, Konjic Economic Development Agency “Konjic Step” and TOFI and “GastroID” companies from Sarajevo.

The festival will be open until October 3rd, from 8am to 3:30 pm.
