June producer Price in Bosnia and Herzegovina are at May Level

Producer prices of industrial products for the total industry of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in June are at the same level as in May, while they are 0.9 percent higher compared to the same month last year, according to the data of the Agency for Statistics of BiH.

On the domestic market, the producer prices of industrial products in June were the same as in May, and they are two percent higher compared to June 2022.

Producer prices of industrial products on the foreign market in June were also at the same level as the previous month, and lower by 0.7 percent compared to June last year.

When it comes to the field of energy, producer prices in the sixth month are higher by 0.6 percent compared to May, and in non-durable products by 0.4 percent, while they are lower in intermediate products by 0.5 percent and capital products by 0.1 percent.

In June, compared to the same month last year, producer prices were 12 percent higher in the non-durable goods sector, 9.4 percent in durable consumer goods, 5.6 percent in capital goods,and 1 percent in energy, while the decline of 4.2 percent was recorded in intermediate products.

The producer prices of industrial products in June were lower in the mining of ore and stone by 1.3 percent compared to May, and in the processing industry by 0.1 percent, while they were higher in the production of electricity by 1.7 percent.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, price level growth was recorded in the extraction of ore and stone by 4.8 percent, the processing industry by 0.2 percent, and the production of electricity by 3.7 percent, Biznis Info reports.
