Members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina will talk today in Sarajevo with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Policy and Security, Kaja Kalas.
After the meeting, which will start at 11:15 a.m., an announcement will be made, the BiH Presidency announced.
It is about another visit of one of the highest officials of the European Union to Bosnia and Herzegovina, at a time when the domestic authorities are expected to continue the reforms necessary for progress on the European path.
The last time Kalas was in Bosnia and Herzegovina was on November 3 last year, when she met with members of the BiH Presidency in Sarajevo.
She previously visited Bosnia and Herzegovina in April 2025.
During that visit, she said that Bosnia and Herzegovina can count on the strong support of the European Union, but that domestic political actors must show political will and take responsibility for reform processes.
The visit to Kalas comes after European officials repeatedly called on the authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina to speed up the fulfillment of the remaining obligations on the European path, especially the adoption of reform laws in the field of justice and the appointment of the chief negotiator with the European Union.
