Bosnia and Herzegovina has complied with the decision of the Council of the European Union regarding restrictive measures against Iran, the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas announced on Friday.

It is a decision adopted by the EU Council on July 24, which amended the earlier decision on restrictive measures against Iran.

The Council decided to remove three persons from the list of those subject to restrictive measures and to update the data relating to one legal entity.
At the same time, restrictive measures against all other persons and entities from the list remain in force.

In addition to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Norway and Ukraine agreed with the decision.

Those countries have committed themselves to harmonize their national policies with the decision of the EU Council.
