It’s the first day of the weekend, the holiday season, and from the early hours of the morning, the frequency of traffic at the border crossings towards Croatia and Montenegro has increased.
There are long lines of passenger vehicles at the exit from Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Izačić, Kamensko, Ivanica, Deleuša, Hum and Zupci border crossings, and at the entrance to our country at the Brod and Klobuk border crossings. At the Velika Kladuša and Gradina border crossings, there are long lines of passenger vehicles in both directions. At the Doljani-Metković, Bijača-Nova Sela and Gradiška-Gornji Varoš border crossings, there are no crowds at our exit ramps, but there are long delays at the entrance to the Republic of Croatia. At other border crossings, passenger vehicles, for now, do not wait longer than 30 minutes.
Due to the high daytime temperatures, we recommend avoiding long-distance driving during the day, and if you do travel, we recommend taking more frequent breaks.
Due to the continuation of the construction of the Nemila-Vranduk highway subdivision, the Golubinja-Nemila subdivision was closed, and vehicle traffic was redirected to the M-17 highway.
Due to road rehabilitation works, the section of the A-1 Lašva-Kakanj highway (with a length of 6 km) is closed, and vehicles are directed in two directions, on the opposite side of the highway.

On the main roads Dobro Polje-Miljevina, Tuzla-Bijeljina and Jablanica-Blidinje, traffic is allowed for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic is still suspended for vehicles over 3.5 tons.
Due to works on the construction of an additional lane for slow vehicles on the Podromanija-Sumbulovac main road, the Romanija pass (climbing from the direction of Podromanija) is moving slowly, with occasional traffic stops.
Due to the holding of the mountain car race today and tomorrow (August 15 and 16) from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., traffic will be suspended on the main road Vlasenica-Han Pijesak (from Romanijska 26 in Vlasenica to the restaurant of the Ski Center Igrište).
On the main road Sarajevo-Lapišnica, due to the installation of lighting in the Vratnik tunnel, traffic is slow every weekday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in one lane.
Due to the necessary works, the main road Crna Rijeka-Jajce (in Podmilačje) is operated alternately with one lane.
Given that it is the holiday season, the situation at the border crossings is variable, and longer delays are expected. Drivers are advised to inform themselves about the cameras on our website https://bihamk.ba/spi/kamere before setting off.
Due to the registration of passengers according to the new system of exiting and entering the countries of the European Union (EES, Entry/Exit System), longer delays at border crossings are possible.
