Karate team of Bosnia and Herzegovina won the third place in kumite – free fighting at the European Championship in Traditional Karate – ITKF, which was held in Vila do Conde, Portugal.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina team, led by coach Redžep Građan, consisted of three young contestants – Vedrana Rajević from KK “Centar” Sarajevo, and Anja Božić and Inela Kovačević from KK “Vareš” from Vareš.

The championship in Portugal was the culmination of this year’s activities of the European branch of IKTF.

The World Organization of Traditional Karate (ITKF) stands for the protection of traditional karate, in order to contribute to the progress of world sport in all countries and thus participate in the overall human development, Fena reports.
