On the occasion of Ramadan, which started yesterday after maghrib prayer, Reis-ul-ulema of the Islamic Community in B&H (IZ B&H), Husein ef. Kavazović, said that without any doubt Ramadan takes a central place in both spiritual vertical as well as the overall tradition of Muslims.
“This is the month without any competition in any aspect, whether spiritual or material culture of our people. For Muslims, it is the most important at the individual level because of worshiping and ways of expressing obedience to Allah s.w.t. Worshiping is just like food; you have to try it by yourself. No matter how the others are trying to show you and to approach it to you, without tasting, it will remain a distant and foreign to you, “said Reis Kavazović.
According to his words, the spirituality of month of Ramadan should make us better people and believers closer to the Lord of the worlds, and His creation which He called “Adam”, man.
“The evil does not require a great victim, nor some special efforts. On the other hand, the good requires daring, courage and determination. Good people are brave people. They are ready to start a fight with their own soul. They want the light of God to overpower within their soul and to suppress the darkness of evil. Their struggle does not end with that: they want this light to shine on their families as well as the community in which they live, a society whose responsible individuals they represent, “said Reis Kavazović.
