The black box of a plane that crashed in Kazakhstan has been found, the Kazinform news agency reported, citing a representative of the Kazakh prosecutor’s office.

“A total of 38 people died in a plane crash near the Kazakh city of Aktau,” Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozimbayev said earlier.

29 people, including two children, were injured and are in hospitals.

“11 of them are in serious but stable condition, while the rest have moderate injuries,” Bozimbayev said.

A plane flying from Baku to Grozny in Chechnya has crashed in Kazakhstan with 69 passengers and crew on board.

According to preliminary data, the plane crashed after colliding with a flock of birds.
