Kazakhstan won Four Medals at the World Taekwondo Championship in Sarajevo

The second day of the World Taekwondo Championship for cadets was marked by representatives of Kazakhstan.

The cadets of this country won two gold and two silver medals. Gold medals were won by Bauyrzhan Issamedin in the category of men up to 164cm and Taissiya Borovikova in the category of women up to 160cm, while the silver medals were won by Nurperzent Samatuly in the category of men up to 160cm and Adilet Sheri in the category of men up to 156cm.

In today’s highest height category, up to 164 cm, apart from the aforementioned Issamedin who won gold, medals were won by Christos Rafail Nitsas (Germany) who won silver, and Ding-fu Yang (Chinese Taipei) and Fallos Franco Klaython (Ecuador) who won bronze medals.

Taissiya Borokikova (Kazakhstan) won the gold medal in the category of women up to 160 cm, Shams Alizada (Azerbaijan) the silver medal, while Haneul Lee (South Korea) and Layan Alrawashdah (Jordan) won the bronze medals.

In the men’s competition up to 160 cm, Donggun Lee (South Korea) won gold, Nurperzent Samatuly (Kazakhstan) won silver, and Yasan Jafari (Iran) and Kirati Yokpuang (Thailand) won bronze.

In the lowest categories today, up to 156 cm, medals were won in the men’s category by Kansubsakorn Pichisongkram (Thailand), the aforementioned Adilet Sheri (Kazakhstan), Jungmu Heo (South Korea) and Kerim Yilmaz (Australia), and in the same height category for women Garam Kim ( South Korea) won the gold medal, Kosar Ojaglo (Iran) won the silver, while Nahomi Guadalupe Martinez (Mexico) and Kaelynn Yvonne Manalo (USA) won the bronze medals.

Today’s fights were attended by the president of the World Taekwondo Federation, Choue Chung-won, who, together with the representatives of the Taekwondo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, visited the Olympic Committee of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and later attended the medal ceremony.

The fights in the categories 164 cm, 168 cm and 172 cm continue tomorrow, and the first fights are scheduled for 9 o’clock, announced the Taekwondo Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
