Kemal Monteno will be buried on Wednesday, January 28th

kemal6Kemal Monteno will be buried on Wednesday, January 28th, at the cemetery Bare, was confirmed by Ivica Saric, the Minister of Culture and Sport Canton Sarajevo and Kemo’s friend as well.

Farewell to Zagreb will take place on Monday at 15:00 o’clock. Commemoration to the famous Sarajevo songwriter will be held at the National Theatre in Sarajevo at 12:00 o’clock , and the funeral will take place at 15:00 o’clock in the cemetery Bare.

Many family members, friends and admirers of his music will say last goodbye to Monteno. No doubt that he has left a strong imprint on the lives of many generations.

Kemal Monteno died day before yesterday in Zagreb in the 67th year of life.
