Keys to 134 Apartments for displaced Persons in BiH handed over

The Minister for Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina Sevlid Hurtić, at today’s ceremony in Doboj, handed over the keys to refugees and displaced persons, for the construction and equipment of which, as part of the CEB II project, 8,522,000 BAM was invested.

Minister Hurtić congratulated all the beneficiaries, 134 of them in total, and wished a more beautiful and pleasant life, which every human being deserves.

“With today’s move-in, works on the construction of buildings within 53 sub-projects have been completed in Bosnia and Herzegovina, providing permanent housing for 1,597 families. Within the CEB II project, 68 sub-projects (residential buildings) are being implemented in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the around 2,045 apartments will be built according to the model of social non-profit housing and partially within the framework of institutional centers for accommodation, for the accommodation of families that are included in 104 registered locations of collective centers and alternative accommodation in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, said Hurtić.

After the ceremony, the minister, together with other officials, visited the village of Bare, where the ribbon was cut and the newly built building was officially handed over, the Ministry of Human Rights and Refugees of Bosnia and Herzegovina announced.
