Klitschko to Sarajevo Mayor: Because of your Support, our Light shines even brighter in the Darkness

The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, sent a letter to the Mayor of Sarajevo, Benjamina Karic, in which, among other things, he thanked the citizens of Sarajevo for the support provided to Ukrainians affected by the war and sent congratulations for the upcoming holidays.

In his letter, Klitschko thanked most sincerely for the support and help that the city of Sarajevo and its citizens provided to Ukrainians who are in difficult times.

”When we have such friends around us, we become stronger. And our strength is democratic freedom. These terrorists destroy our infrastructure: we cannot call our close people, get warm in winter, or wash our hands due to lack of water. It’s not scary. The heaviest losses are human lives,” writes Klitschko and continues:

”In this most difficult period, in the midst of darkness, we see the light – our common values and goals. And because of your help, this light becomes brighter,” he expressed.

In the end, Klitschko thanked the city of Sarajevo once again, as he stated in the letter – as true friends – for participating in the ”Kyiv Investment Forum 2022”, which for him is an important gesture in helping to rebuild a part of Europe, thinking of Ukraine.

”And Victory Day will be our common celebration,” Klicko pointed out.

On behalf of the delegation of the City of Kyiv, Klitschko wished Benjamina happiness, success, the discovery of new opportunities, and a ”real miracle”.
