Do you know the Story of the first Woman from BiH who climbed the Matterhorn?

Miladinka Mima Vasic, a young woman from Brcko with the address in Tuzla, is one of the most successful BH mountaineers who entered the history of BiH two years ago when she climbed Matterhorn as the first woman from BiH who managed to do it.

When asked about her dearest mountain top, she said that each one of them have special value and significance for her, and that a lot of emotions and people with whom she shared the joy at the top remind her on them.

As she noted, the view of the Matterhorn from the town of Zermatt is simply breath-taking, and one cannot stay indifferent to that great rock, and the feelings from ecstasy to admiration are simply overwhelming.

This year, they shared the same joy at the top of Mont Blanc, the highest peak in Western Europe, but in a slightly expanded team. They were accompanied with the youngest BH alpinist, a twelve-year-old Danin Jusko, who reached the top with them.

“Emotions at the top of the mountain simply overwhelm you, they make you smile, feel joy, experience tears of joy, and they are just a unique experience. You share this joy with your colleagues and this is a special type of relationship that connects people,” said this young woman, who is employed in the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA).

“Mountaineering is actually a lifestyle,” she stated.

She also announced that she is planning to go to Elbrus, the Caucasus, in July this year, together with her partners climbers.
