The third international symposium ‘Days of Human Reproduction’, which will be held from 10 to 13 April in Tuzla, will gather leading experts from the area of human reproduction from B&H, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, Slovenia and Sweden.
Through presentations of the latest scientific achievements and exchange of experiences, they are expected to make an additional step and improve knowledge in the area of human reproduction.
‘’We want to advance the field of human reproduction in B&H, to try to consolidate centers for human reproduction in our country, to come up with new scientific-technological knowledge and to exchange knowledge and experience in this area’’, said at a press conference the Director of the gynecological clinic ‘Korak do života’ Tuzla, Suada Tinjić.
She said that the main topics that will be discussed at the symposium are the assisted medical reproduction, embryology, use of ultrasound in assisted reproduction, and microsurgical and endoscopic procedures in the treatment of infertility and sterility.
‘’Among the topics I will highlight the topic of transplantation of ovaries and uterus, approach of religion to assisted medical insemination, and what is interesting is that the third day of this gathering will organize a round table on the topic ‘’medically assisted insemination in B&H’’, said Tinjić.
She also said that the roundtable will be joined by representatives of the FB&H Ministry of Health and the Fund of Health Insurance of Tuzla Canton, as well as other participants of the symposium.
