novo-izdanje_stripAgarthi Comics is launching a new library, Biblioteka Bosančica, which will release B&H comics.

According to a statement, they decided to launch this library in order to give a chance to all new authors, but at the same time to remind older generations how comics have been made in the last decades in B&H.

As the first part, which will open the new library, there will be ‘Valter Brani Sarajevo’, by author Ahmet Muminović, probably one of the most important works of this author, and probably in the whole of the former Yugoslavia.

‘Valter Brani Sarajevo’ is regarded as the best-selling comic of the former Yugoslavia. After release, it was exported to a few countries, and several million copies were printed in China.

The release itself is a curiosity because it contains a detailed biography of Vladimir Perić Valter, a comic that is made up of 6 episodes on 90 pages, and as an addition, a photo gallery of the war path of Valter and his burial in Sarajevo after having been killed fighting for the liberation of this city, with 55 photographs that have never before been published.

‘Valter Brani Sarajevo’ will be on sale from 7 to 15 April.
