Dr. Felix Unger who first transplanted Artificial Heart to visit BiH

felix ungerThe President of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts (EASA), Prof. Dr. Felix Unger will give a public lecture entitled  “Next Europe and the role of the Balkans” on the invitation of academics Senka Mesihovic-Dinarevic, in the organization of the Committee for Cardiovascular Pathology of OMN ANUBiH, on the 16th of March 2017.

Prof. Dr. Felix Unger is a very important and big name in the world of medicine and cardiac surgery, who made the very first artificial heart in 70’s of the last century. He is a member of many academies of sciences and arts, he is academically productive and respected scientist who has more than 400 published scientific papers, as announced by the Academy of Arts and Sciences.

The initiative that would result from the meeting and lecture of Prof. Dr. Felix Unger is the establishment of cooperation between the European Academy of Sciences and Arts and ANUBiH in the form of annual lectures and exchange of views, which members of EASA would prepare in ANUBiH, from other scientific fields every year.

The lecture will be held in the English language on Thursday, the 16th of March 2017 at 12 pm in the amphitheater of ANUBiH, on the address Bistrik 7, Sarajevo.

Entrance is free of charge for all interested parties, as announced by the ANUBiH.
