anniversaryAnniversary of the killing of six citizens of Sarajevo, out of which three were children, was marked yesterday at Tahtali Sokak Street No. 10 in the Municipality Centar Sarajevo.

Representative of the Association of parents of children killed during Sarajevo siege 1992-1995, representatives of the Municipality Centar, family members and friends, paid tribute to murdered citizens, and a number of dental school students were present as well.

President of the Association of parents of children killed during Sarajevo siege 1992-1995, Fikret Grabovica, told that today they are visiting the place where horrible crimes were committed on this day in 1992, when a grenade killed 6 of our fellow citizens.

According to him, three children and three adults were killed and three persons got injured.

“As in the previous years, we gathered here to preserve the memory of the victims, to pay the tribute and save the truth from oblivion, the truth that we will not, we cannot and we must not forget because of the future and our future generations,” emphasized Grabovica.

He added that better future can be built only based on the truth.

“We gathered here to send the message of peace, although it does not have a full meaning without punishing those who have committed the crimes. Message to judicial authorities is to finally start doing their job and that those who committed this and many other crimes finally get faced with the justice,” said Grabovica.
