Alarm Sirens will sound Today at Noon in Sarajevo

The Cantonal Administration of Civil Protection of the Canton of Sarajevo informs the citizens that the municipal operational centers of civil protection from the area of ​​Canton Sarajevo will, via devices for broadcasting warning signals (siren), today at 11. July 2024, at 12:00 p.m., broadcast the signal “end of danger”, and on the occasion of commemorating the 29th anniversary of the genocide against Bosniaks in Srebrenica.

The sign (signal) “end of danger” sounds with a single tone for 60 seconds.

“We invite citizens to stop during the sounding of sirens if they are in motion, stop the vehicle and get out if they are on the road, and in this way pay respect to the victims of the genocide,” states the notice.
